01 — Overview

These Terms of Service govern your use of archivedblood.com and every purchase made from Archived Blood ("we", "us", "our"). By using the site, placing an order, or submitting an item to our authentication service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

02 — Orders & Products

All items are offered subject to availability. Many pieces are one-of-one archive items and cannot be restocked, exchanged for another unit, or replaced. We photograph and describe every item as accurately as possible, but pre-owned and hand-finished pieces show natural variation and signs of wear — please study the listing carefully. We may refuse or cancel an order at our discretion (for example, a pricing error or suspected fraud); if we do, any payment taken for that order will be returned. Prices are listed in US dollars and payment is handled securely by a third-party payment provider.

03 — Authenticity

Items offered on this site may include pieces originally designed and manufactured by third-party brands. Archived Blood is an independent archive and reseller. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or authorized by any third-party brand, and nothing on this site should be understood as claiming otherwise. All third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify and describe the items offered.

Where an item is described as authentic, or is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, that statement is solely the professional opinion of our own experts, formed by examining the item's construction, materials, hardware, and provenance against the Archive's records. It is the only authenticity guarantee attached to any item, and it comes only from us:

• It is provided by Archived Blood alone — never by the original brand, and never by any other third party.
• It covers exactly what is stated in the certificate we issue — nothing more, and nothing implied beyond it.
• No original brand has inspected, verified, certified, or approved the item or our assessment, and no brand's guarantee or warranty applies to your purchase.
• Authentication is expert judgment exercised at a point in time. We stand behind the work of our experts, but we cannot guarantee that a third party — including the original brand, a marketplace, or another authenticator — will always reach the same conclusion.

If you require certification issued directly by a brand, please purchase through that brand's own channels.

04 — Authentication Service

When you submit an item for authentication, our experts examine the details and photographs provided and enter a verdict — authentic or not authentic — into the Archive. The verdict is our professional opinion only, subject to the same limits described in section 03: it is not a determination by the brand concerned, and it carries no third-party endorsement. A certificate is issued for both outcomes, and the service fee is earned in full once the examination is complete, whatever the verdict. 05 — All Sales Final

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds, returns, exchanges, or cancellations — on garments, jewelry, objects, or authentication services — except where a refund is required by applicable law. Because our pieces are frequently unique archive items, review the photographs, description, and condition notes carefully and ask us any questions before you commit. Nothing in this section limits any statutory consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

06 — Shipping & Risk

Orders are dispatched to the address given at checkout. Risk of loss passes to you when the parcel is handed to the carrier. We are not responsible for carrier delays, loss, damage, or customs charges, though we will assist with a claim where we reasonably can.

07 — Intellectual Property

The site and its content — imagery, text, design, and the Archived Blood name and marks — belong to us and may not be reproduced without permission. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their owners.

08 — Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Archived Blood is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or any purchase. Our total liability for any claim connected to a product or service is limited to the amount you paid for it.
